Cora's Bookshelf - 6 Months

I'll admit, I might have a shopping problem when it comes to books! I've bought countless books and on top of the books I already had and what was gifted by family and friends, Cora probably has plenty for a while. I just can't resist adding more to her collection. Every time I go to Goodwill or The Thrift Connection I have to check out what books they have on their shelves.

Her temporary bookshelf until we can get something else!

Here's a list of all the books that Cora currently has on her bookshelf.

I likely missed a few and I couldn't find a couple of them anywhere online! I'll add more if I can find them. There's a small stack of books for older kids that I haven't listed.

0-6 Months Fave Toys

Cora's a toy fanatic and these are some of her favorites that she thinks you should check out! Before she was born I looked at all the toys available on the market for babies and went with many that were on a list of recommended toys a pediatric occupational therapist had on her blog. Hopefully Cora's choices can help you decide on toys for a baby in your life!

These are perfect for creating a chain to attach toys to something or just to chew on! We have a chain attached to the handle of Cora's carseat and she often has another in her playpen to freely play with, under supervision, of course.

The World of Eric Carle Bath Squirty Toys

When I was first browsing the Toys R Us / Babies R Us website in search of what to buy for Cora using gift cards from the baby shower I saw these and had to get them. I think they're adorable! She might as well be a fish with how much she likes bath time and she loves to smack at these.

The World of Eric Carle Development Elephant Toy

Remaining on the subject of Eric Carle... how cute is this elephant? This is definitely one of her favorite plush toys. There are many features on this toy that makes it great! Crinkly ears, teethers, rings to hold onto, and a mirror! She has recently discovered she can chew on his tail as well.

This was one of the first toys that she was really interested in and interacted with. It's easy to grab, hold, and better yet, chew! Who doesn't enjoy a good ball that you can try to eat?! It comes in many different colors such as blue, pink, green, and orange.

The rainstick is a recent addition to her toy box! She thinks it is very exciting to have a ball that she can play with that is bigger than her O'Ball Rattle. I often find her with an entire arm in one of the holes and once I've even seen both feet in there. It's easy to grab, easy to chew, and the rainstick in the middle makes plenty of noise.

One of Cora's Christmas presents! This toy is really fun to smack and yell at. She smacks the buttons that play different songs, smacks the monkey, smacks the turtles, smacks the handle, smacks the toucan... Basically, she loves this toy.

What baby doesn't need keys?! Jimmy brought these home for her one night when she'd been chewing on everything thanks to teething and it was an instant hit. Put them in the fridge for a cold teether to help with any discomfort for teething!

Another Christmas present! She enjoys smacking and chewing on her music player. A lot of times when she's playing with this I end up singing to her. I think she enjoys the toy more than my singing... She likes to grab the handle and fling it around, particularly in my direction.

Another Christmas present! I tend to keep this one in the diaper bag to play with in case it's needed. Same with the previous music player, she enjoys smacking and chewing on it.

She has this teether in pink, obviously! This is one of her favorite teethers. It's easy for her to hold onto and bring to her mouth to chew on. It's soft and textured, which is great for when her gums are sore from teething. She'll generally choose this teether over other toys near her!
