Our Month Long Michigan Trip

We took a trip to Michigan at the beginning of February seeing as Jimmy was going to be in Kansas City, MO for training. It was the perfect opportunity to see family and let Cora terrorize everyone (cats included). The train was scheduled to leave at 5:14am on February 2nd out of Omaha, but due to them wanting to put me on a bus instead we switched my tickets to the next day. After 11 hours of delays off we went! 

I never want to take a train ever again. I was motion sick, tired, my phone was dead, and my chicken dinner had the texture of over-chewed bubblegum. I feel very lucky that Cora slept a long majority of the trip. 

Originally I was only going to be in Michigan for two weeks. That extended another week because my mom's birthday was on the 22nd. Then extended another week because Cora and Jimmy were sick. Then extended yet another week because Jimmy had something come up. I eventually got back to Nebraska. 

Below is a large collection of photos I took during my stay in Michigan! Cora had a lot of fun playing with family, shopping, and going after cats. At the end are photos of some of the things that are being stored at my parents house from my grandma's house, including my dad's footprints as a newborn!
